Brunel is currently seeking an experienced Travel Coordinator for a contract position based in Perth CBD.

The successful Travel Coordinator must possess strong experience working in a constantly changing and fast paced project environment. Must be available to work long hours including early mornings, late nights and weekends as required.

  • Manage the travel coordination programs for teams
  • Flight and accommodation bookings and quarantine exemptions
  • Coordinating logistics for in country and inter-country travel
  • Work with contractors and management personnel to find appropriate PCR testing laboratories
  • Ability to work with international organisations, where English not the first language and book in their service
  • Can quickly set up PCR tests at short notice
  • Guide travellers on necessary travel actions and coordinate the logistics for their in country and inter-country travel in order to meet their objectives
  • Will work closely with the visa, flights and accommodation members of the Project Traveller Team and be available to support and back-fill these roles
  • Help travellers understand company culture, values and administrative processes
  • Brief follow up travellers on COVID-19 travel restrictions and approach

  • Extremely flexible with working hours and shift work
  • Must have experience with international travel
  • Willing to learn quickly about the COVID-19 travel environment / has experience in this environment highly desirable
  • Can do attitude, enjoys a fast paced environment and able to adjust to moving priorities
  • Open to working in different ways in the current Covid-19 environment
  • Experienced in working with key stakeholders in countries overseas desirable – overcoming language and cultural barriers to make bookings happen
  • High energy and ability to work out of hours and long hours as potential issues may arise
  • Very comfortable with last minute changes and implementing urgent requests from the Chairman’s office at all times
  • Discrete (manages in confidence information)
  • Good written and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Highly experienced administration skills
  • Diplomatic and friendly
  • Experienced in coordinating international travel programs in the resources sector for a mining company will be highly regarded
