About this role

Canadian listed company whose flagship project in a mining sector in Mattilanperä, Raahe. Production is expected to begin during 2021.

• Conducting emergency response and other training on site and at the station;

• Ensuring the specialist equipment is maintained to a suitable standard;

• Conducting routine maintenance including cleaning and rebuilding breathing apparatus;

• Presenting and assessing Work Health Safety and rescue related training courses; • Conducting audits and risk assessments;

• Being an advocate for safety and demonstrate behaviors aligned to safety.

Requirements

Requirements

• Current TAE Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE16) (Desirable);

• Certificate of Competency (OCE or Deputy) or similar qualification in mining operations (desirable);

• Mines Rescue Brigade Qualification or ERT Experience (minimum of 5 years' experience);

• A minimum of 5 years' experience in either underground or surface mining operations;

• Current First Aid qualifications;

• Experience delivering face to face training;

• Intermediate level of competence in Microsoft Office Suite;

• Demonstrated behaviors aligned to our company values and culture - we care, we work together, we make a difference.
