Brunel have partnered with a Government Water Utilities Company to successfully recruit and place a suitably qualified Team Lead for a temporary backfill assignment supporting their Asset Monitoring & System Investigations (AMSI) Field Operations department.

  • Start Date: 20 September 2021
  • End Date: 31 December 2021
  • Rate per hour: $70phr + super
  • Hours per week: 38hrs
  • Location: Shenton Park, WA

Reporting to the Manager AMSI, you will be required to lead and direct a technical field team of asset monitoring experts (including conveyance, dams, catchments and environment work) across the state to supply the business with accurate and validated asset data to enable informed asset operation, planning and investment decisions. Effectively manage forecasting, planning, scheduling and reporting of resources to collect and provide data and information in accordance with agreed programs, services agreements and contracts.

  • Coordinating the scheduling of three field teams; Asset Monitoring, Systems Investigation, Geotechnical Monitoring, in conjunction with supervisors, to achieve data collection outcomes in a safe environment.
  • Pro-actively identifying variations to budget, time or scope and liaise with project managers to achieve agreement on the variation with internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage performance and development of direct reports and team members
  • Manage forecasting, planning, scheduling and reporting of resources in Field Operations Team to collect and provide data and information in accordance with agreed programs, services agreements and contracts.
  • Reporting of Team Outcomes in accordance with Section’s Management Operating System (MOS)

Requirements

Requirements

  • Post-secondary qualification in relevant science or engineering discipline
  • Frontline management experience
  • Experience in Field Data Collection and Delivery on water and related assets.
