A global oil and gas company that specialise in offshore floating structures are branching out into the renewable energy industry.
With their expertise in floating structures, they are investing heavily into developing offshore floating wind and tidal energy technologies.
Using your strong background in Electrical Engineering, you’ll be responsible for R&D of new electrical technology and high voltage systems.
Projects like this are a team effort, and you won’t be alone.
You’ll join an established R&D department who are already working on the cutting edge projects.
You’ll have a number of years’ experience working in the renewable energy industry, preferably working on offshore projects.
Degree wise, you’ll likely hold a Bachelor’s or above in Electrical Engineering or a similar engineering related field and you will also be highly qualified in High Voltage (HV) systems.
Most of your time will be spend in Schiedam in the Netherlands. English will be spoken in the office so fluency in English, both written and verbal is required.
What we offer
This is a 12 month contract position with the possibility of extending further.
Rates for this position are around €60 - €80 gross per hour, depending on experience.
