About this role
We’re looking for an engineer who can use their technical skills to solve complex marine calculations.
This role is based in Monaco working on a 12 month renewable contract.
Your main responsibility will involve defining hydrodynamic loads that act upon floating systems and deriving the effects.
Day to day your tasks can vary. From performing the conceptual design of anchoring systems to assessing the dynamic response of floating units such as CALM buoys, FPSO’s and floating wind turbines.
This is obviously a lot of responsibility, but you won’t be alone.
You’ll report directly to the Subsea Manager, and work alongside other Hydrodynamic Engineers in order to ensure the safe, timely and efficient delivery of high quality engineering.
This role requires experience- a minimum of 5 years’ in the offshore industry.
During this time, you’ll have developed an in-depth knowledge of hydrodynamics and mooring systems.
Degree wise there is flexibility, but you’ll likely hold a Bachelor’s or above in a relevant discipline (Hydrodynamics, Structure, Mechanics, Materials).
