About this role

Reporting into the Track Lead, you will be required to complete the following:

  • Ensuring the ongoing quality of welds within the fixed flashbutt and mobile flashbutt welds is maintained
  • Leading HSE compliance for immediate area and undertaking safety observations
  • Maintain high standard of work ensuring all tasks undertaken are deemed reasonable to ensure the successful construction of the Rail line.

About you

  • Previous inspection experience, preferably in a rail environment
  • Relevant discipline experience in Structural, Mechanical and Piping fabrication
  • Understanding and interpretation of drawings
  • Professional certification (Structural/welding inspector qualifications preferred)
  • Current understanding of applicable standards
