About this role

We’re hiring Marketing and Business Development Manager for our client, a leading company, to join their growing team. This is a Permanent position in Pune, Magarpatta location.

The responsibilities may include creating brand strategies such as positioning, scheduling, and deciding on the selling platform. He will be also in charge of creating new branded items and selling initiatives, marketing the company image and positioning throughout the industry, building strong customer relationships, developing and executing customer pricing and promotions, as well as analyzing trends in the sales performance and adjusting plans accordingly in order to meet the sales target. Provide forecasts for branded products; create, contribute, and present sales presentations; and collaborate with the sales, engineering, and production teams to ensure product requirements are achieved. They also assist in the development of a branded marketing plan; analyze the market and the competition to support in setting a new product pricing; collaborate with a cross-functional team.

  • Develop, implement, and identify new marketing strategies;
  • Responsible for growing the business of corrosion monitoring product range;
  • Develop a deep understanding of client's needs, requirements and context and ensure that client's expectations from the engagement are met;
  • Project Delivery and Client Management - Be accountable for delivery and performance of an engagement;
  • Manage and oversee all marketing activity Analyze market data, sales reports, customer information, and gather competitor intelligence to create cohesive and actionable market and business analysis;
  • Leverage all available tools, resources and business intelligence systems to provide the Company’s business leaders with both current and forward looking market analysis and projections, including technological or competition updates, and changes in supply/demand dynamics and price. Develop relevant market information for corporate planning;
  • Maintains contacts with customers & regularly visits to ascertain needs;
  • Maintain and build strategic company-to-company relationships with key enterprise-wide decision makers;
  • Expected to come up with innovative ideas that would set our product apart from the competition. Thus requires ability to think outside of the box;
  • Also have good project management, problem solving, and decision making skills; good oral and verbal communication skills, presenting skills and negotiation skills. should also have the ability to network and work well under pressure.



Candidate shall have minimum BE/B.Sc. in Chemical/Mechanical/Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent academic qualification with 10+ years of experience with sound understanding on Marketing and Business Development of industrial products in O&G sector. Experience in Corrosion field will have added advantage.

Candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and customer handling capability. Ability to interact & coordinate with various internal and external agencies. Must be a good team player.

Primary Location: India or UAE

Shift: Day Job (coordination with US team in CST time zone is necessary)

Travel: Yes, 20 to 30 % of the Time
