Brunel have partnered with a Water Utilities Company to successfully recruit and place a suitably qualified Contracts Specialist for a 12 month contract opportunity based in Leederville. Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you will plan, develop and establish contracts for the procurement of goods and services including capital works projects as part of the Commercial Contracts Team.

  • Start Date: Immediate
  • End Date: 12 month contract
  • Candidate rate per hour: $61.83ph + Superannuation.
  • Hours per week: 38
  • Location: Leederville, WA

  • Prepare bid documents and manage the bid process.
  • Write evaluation recommendations and reports.
  • Liaise with the stakeholders and provide support on projects.
  • Provide IT contract and procurement advice.
  • Review procurement plans for critical or high-risk contracts.
  • Resolve contractual issues that arise.



  • Extensive experience in the development, negotiation and implementation of IT contracts
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly developed interpersonal and influencing skills.
  • A degree level qualification in a related discipline (IT, Business or Law).
  • Demonstrated extensive experience in the development and management of contracts particularly in Information Technology.
  • Solid knowledge of contract law and the formation of complex IT contracts.
  • A working knowledge of SAP computer-based procurement systems
  • Experience in government sector procurement would be desirable.
