About this role
Responsible for timely completion of assigned repair, warranty and preventative maintenance service on vehicles and equipment, primarily refuse equipment. Knowledge and ability to safely utilize all tools and equipment: pneumatic and hand tools, cutting torches, pressure washers, hydraulic jacks, welding equipment, vehicle lifts, diagnostic equipment, indoor crane equipment, including other machines and equipment as needed. CDL Class A preferred, Class B acceptable.
Field Service Tech covers the state of Ohio and occasionally travels to surrounding states as needed. Must be able and willing to operate service truck and equipment (crane & welder), travel for extended periods of time;
Will be required to diagnose and repair new and used equipment, including Front End Loaders, Automated Side Loaders, Rear Loaders, and other equipment;
Working hours will be first shift Monday-Friday with possibility but not guarantee of overtime. Must be willing and able to work flexible hours, occasionally working evenings when needed;
Must own tools – 1 year old company truck furnished. Must have valid driver’s license;
Employee will be required to come to work on time and maintain positive work attitude and appearance with the ability to be self-directed.
